Planning Photoshoots during a Pandemic!

I have a lot of mixed feelings about the pandemic and how it has effected my college life this year. Sometimes i think working from home is good as it allows me more time with my family and it keeps us all safe. But at the same time, I'm like a magpie and the distractions are eye-catching!

I have so many plans and having to wait until the lockdown is lifted has really taken its toll on me. I can plan and plan and plan but until I'm able to execute the shoot i know my work isn't done! I am trying to take advantage of the time to plan and research! I am making sure that i am discovering the best places to shoot when we can, gaining the trust of my model by getting to know them more over the few weeks extra i have had. Its important to make sure she is comfortable and in turn the photographs will speak for themselves.

Finding the right outfits to fit a theme which i have overly planned has proven difficult. I have been trying to stay true to the theme but not make my shoot comical and more realistic.

I have drawn inspiration from Annie Liebowitz Disney shoots. She has a great eye for bringing fantasies to life. Making them realistic. I want that for my Alice inspired shoot.
